amazing the balance between the flash lights and the sky. I like the presence of the flashes on the shot, are part of the composition and make a litle bit pro de pic.
It was taken with a polarizer? Normally the fisheye lens are not compatible with the filters.

Nice shot, but I would suggest a little bit of cropping, to remove the light sources.

cropping can destroy perspective, especially with a fisheye.

sick shot, the lighting is clean and the angle is good.
i personally would have avoided the lens flares, i think they pull the attention from him.

since they don't intersect the skater, personally the don't bother me. plus, to get rid of them i would have to move the flashes (ruin the lighting) or ruin the angle.

for the record, i'm definitely not anti strobes in shots, i just found their being two very bright ones far away from the focal point to be distracting. i'm 2 weeks into a 5 week road trip though, so i'm already a bit delirious :p

well i guess we both just have our own opinions... only one would bug me to death, because the two form a line that intersects the subject and draws my attention to him... everyone's brain works a little different though...

i'm not trying to give you a hard time about it, i like the shot. was just giving my own opinion, i know everyones is different (in fact i'm glad most everyones is different, almost nobody around these parts has any idea what a good action photo is :p i don't want to have to share an opinion with all of them hehe). i'd much rather somebody give their honest critique about my work than just say "looks cool" so i just assume others as well would like the same. even if i don't agree with an opinion, i still always like to hear them on my work, only way to get better. :)

i'm completely aware of how lighting and camera angle works, especially in action sports :p i'd still have burned them down a bit at least, they are the brightest things in the image and pull the eye from the main focal point of the image. again though, this is my own personal opinion

I think I am going blind. Is that you or the William person? And did you take this or William person? Because for a second the person in the picture looked like you, which is why I said I think I am going blind.
